UPCOMING EVENTS

Latin America Mission Trip
We have several attendees from our church participating in this important Latin America mission trip which will take place on November 16-23.  Their mission is to mobilize the Body of Christ to evangelize the lost and equip local believers to multiply disciples and churches among the unreached.  Habakkuk 2:14 says, "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord's glory, as the water covers the sea."  Pray that knowledge of God's glory will be spread to every nation, tribe, and tongue.  Pray that our body will be compelled to participate in the spreading of this knowledge.

Ladies Prayer Group
Our Ladies Prayer Group will meet Friday, November 21st, at 11:00 a.m., in the Keene Room.  All the ladies in the church are encouraged to attend.

Annual Craft & Bake Sale
Our women's ministry will be having their annual Craft Sale on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, November 23rd, starting at 9:00 a.m.  You may bring your items in that week or that morning.  We will put all the items on tables in the Narthex.  Hopefully, this will give everyone who wants to participate time to create your crafts.

Carnegie Hall Choir Trip​
Our Choir has been invited to sing at Carnegie Hall as part of a mass choir November 28 - December 1; the cost will be $3,000.00 per person.  To date, $7,767.00 has been generously given to help defray this personal expense; THANK YOU!  If you too would like to help with this trip, please make your check out to the church and on the memo line write: Choir Trip.  All money received is equally divided among the twelve choir members making the trip.

​Lois Witmer Circle
The Lois Witmer Circle of our women's ministry will meet on Tuesday, December 2nd, at 11:00 a.m., in the Keene Room.  Everyone is encouraged to attend.

Friendship Club, P.M. Edition
The Friendship Club, P.M. Edition will gather for a Dutch-treat dinner Thursday evening, December 4th, at Olive Garden (7206 Kingston Pike), at 6:30 p.m.  These social gatherings are for anyone who wishes to attend; feel free to invite someone to join you.  A sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board outside the Church Office.

Friendship Club​
The Friendship Club will gather for a Dutch-treat lunch Wednesday, December 17th, at Long Horn Steakhouse (7740 Kingston Pike, parking lot of West Town Mall), at 11:00 a.m.  These social gatherings are for anyone who wishes to attend; feel free to invite someone to join you.  A sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board outside the Church Office.

Coalition for Appalachian Ministry
Our women's ministry will be collecting craft supplies for CAM.  These are the things needed: fabric, cotton in small to one yard quantities, can be new or used if in good shape; glass jars, sauce jars, pickle jars, mayonnaise jars, olive jars, either with or without lids; and old license plates, to be used as roofs for birdhouses.  These items will be collected until we have enough to take to the mission.  Please put these items in the big blue container in the Narthex.  Thank you for helping to gather such necessary items for the crafters of Appalachia.
