Name: Karen & Sam Ware
Position: Music Program Co-Directors

Sam and Karen Ware are the Music Directors of Knoxville First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Sam is the Music Director/Organist, and Karen is the Choral Director. The Wares are both graduates of Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens, TN., and have been leading church music since 1970. They have three daughters and two granddaughters. Karen is a Realtor, and is the Office Administrator of Century 21, Legacy, and Sam is Senior Funeral Director, Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel. Sam and Karen have been at Knoxville First Cumberland Presbyterian since 2005.

Name: Rev. Rebecca Prenshaw
Position: Worship Accompanist

Rev. Rebecca Prenshaw, an ordained minister in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, graduated from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary with her Master of Divinity in 2010. She has served as Moderator of the Presbytery of East Tennessee, as well as on the Board of Christian Education and on staff of several churches in the area. Currently, she is serving the Knoxville First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, musically, as well as leading small groups, and has enjoyed her preaching opportunities both at Knoxville First and other area churches. She and her husband, Rick, recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. They have three grown sons, and visit them and their families as often as they can, enjoying their five grandchildren.
